| East Africa Radio is an internet
based radio station broadcasting live from the United
Kingdom to the world wide web every Saturday between the
hours of 4:00pm – 10:00pm GMT. The show is developed and
presented by our resident DJs consisting of Dr.Jay, DJ
Skilzs, and Lady D. We are also in the process of setting up
live links with a number of radio stations in East Africa.
East Africa Radio is managed by East African Nationals
living in the Diaspora to play and keep those in the
Diaspora close. East African Radio is not a tribal or
political mouthpiece. We're here simply to bring nationals,
form all African Countries together thus
promoting the ethos of The Organisation of African Unity (OAU).
The Station will cover programs mainly from the territories
of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. We will provide a link
between family and community members wherever they may be in
the world. We will be streaming a range of programmes
directly to the world wide web from our powerful hosting
servers right here in the United Kingdom.
Every Saturday we will showcase our unique blend of African
classic tunes and neo modern tunes, a mix of music that you
cannot find on any other radio station. Such mixes will
include music ranging from: Luganda, Luo, Bongo Flava, Hip
Hop, Ragga, R&B, Mduara, Muziki Wa Dansi, Zilipendwa,
Lingala, Kadongo kamu and many more African Music.
We welcome points of view from our community. If you have a
